According to the Shipping and Refunds policy of biciclettami.it, all our packages are usually shipped with TNT/UPS with tracking code for shipments.

Shipping to Italy takes place in the following way:

Standard shipping with arrival within 3-4 working days.

Shipping to other countries takes place in the following way:

Standard shipping with arrival within 5-6 working days.

Shipments have the following costs, which vary depending on the size of the packages. This scheme summarizes the costs, but during the creation of the order the website will provide a real-time calculation of the shipping price based on the items placed in the cart and the country from which the order is coming

Delivery of Products

According to the Shipping and Refunds policy of biciclettami.it, the delivery of the products takes place according to the following procedures:

Delivery times and methods:

Biciclettami reserves a working day for the retrieval of the goods, the preparation of the packages, and the completion of the necessary administrative procedures. In case the product is not available you will be notified of the time needed to retrieve it from our suppliers.

The time taken by the courier for delivery (3-4 working days) must then be added to this day.

PLEASE NOTE: BARTOLINI and TNT do not advise by telephone before making delivery and make deliveries during office hours.

You will be provided with the shipping number of your order, so you can track the shipment on the site of the chosen courier.

If no one is present at the time of delivery, the courier will leave a paper notice or will contact you to the phone number written on your order to fix a new delivery together with you. If no one is present at the second delivery, the goods will remain in the courier branch. The customer is required to make arrangements directly with the courier. If not possible arrange a further delivery, the customer must request that the goods be kept in the branch and then personally collect them at the headquarters.

After a few unsuccessful attempts, the goods will remain in storage at the local warehouse until it is sent back to the Seller. To send it to you a second time we will be forced to request shipping costs.

Biciclettami assumes no responsibility for any delays in delivery caused by the courier.

How to behave at the delivery of the product

When the courier makes the delivery you will have to check:

  • That the package is intact, not damaged or wet and in any case complies with the standard characteristics of a package
  • That the number of packages indicated on the invoice corresponds to the number of packages actually delivered
  • For safety always place on the delivery note “RECEIVED WITH RESERVE OF CONTROL”
Any disputes must be immediately raised to the carrier, in the absence of these, the product is considered delivered correctly.

The invoice, inserted in the document pocket of the package, must be kept.

How to behave in case of damage due to transport

If you receive a package that shows obvious signs of damage please:

express a reservation, meaning that the package is accepted but before signing the documents you will have to write “Accepted with reserve”, it will be possible once the package is opened and eventually found damaged, to be compensated for the damage. Reject the damaged goods if it is not possible to accept the package with reserve or in case the damage is still visible without having to open the package.

Right of withdrawal

According to the Shipping and Refunds policy of biciclettami.it, the right of withdrawal is regulated according to the following procedures.

Pursuant to art. 52 of the legislative decree 6 September 2005 n. 206 (“Consumer Code”), you have the right to withdraw from the contract signed with the Seller without any penalty and without giving any reasons, within fourteen (14) days from the day you received the products purchased on biciclettami.it. Pursuant to art. 54 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal may be exercised using one of the following methods:

  1. use of the Return Form conforming to the standard form pursuant to art. 49, paragraph 4 of the Consumer Code, to be completed in full to obtain the return number (the Seller will send you confirmation by e-mail of receipt of the request for withdrawal transmitted by the Return Form);
  2. send to the Seller any other explicit declaration of your decision to withdraw from the contract, without prejudice, in such cases, that it will be your responsibility to prove the correct and timely exercise of the right of withdrawal.

The products to be returned must be delivered to the courier within fourteen (14) days from the date on which you notified the Seller of your decision to withdraw from the contract.

Pursuant to art. 59 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded if you have purchased products tailored or customized or sealed goods that are not suitable to be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection and were opened after the delivery.

Conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal pursuant to art. 52 of the Consumer Code

According to the Shipping and Refunds policy of biciclettami.it, the right of withdrawal is exercised correctly if the following conditions are fully met:

  1. within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the products, you must correctly complete and transmit: the Return Form that we make available on the site or, alternatively, send another explicit statement of your decision to withdraw from the contract by registered letter to di Biciclettami, Via Palazzo dei Diavoli, 205 50142 Florence – ITALY;
  2. the products must not have been used, worn, washed or damaged;
  3. the identification tag must still be attached to the products with the disposable seal;
  4. the products must be returned in their original packaging (if you want to return a kit, you must return all the items that compose it);
  5. the returned products must be delivered to the courier chosen within fourteen (14) days from when you have notified the Seller of your decision to withdraw from the contract;
  6. the products must not be damaged.

If you have met all the required conditions, Biciclettami in accordance with art. 56 of the Consumer Code will fully refund the price of the products purchased, remaining at your expense only the costs of the return, ie those for returning the purchased products to Biciclettami, unless Biciclettami has expressly exempted you from these expenses at the time of purchase and the further condition that you use the shipping agent indicated in the Return Form.

You will be contacted if your return can not be accepted because it does not comply with the conditions set out above in points 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the previous paragraph. In this case, you can choose to get back the products purchased at your expense. In case you refuse this shipment, Biciclettami reserves the right to retain the products and the amount corresponding to the purchase price of the products.

Times and methods of repayment

According to the Shipping and Refunds policy of biciclettami.it, according to the art. 56, paragraph III of the Consumer Code, only after Biciclettami has received your returned goods and checked that all the requirements have been met, you’ll receive an e-mail of acceptance of the return confirmation and Biciclettami proceed to the full repayment of the amount due. Whatever the mode of payment you used (Paypal, Bank Transfer), the refund is activated as quickly as possible, and no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which Biciclettami will have received the returned goods, once verified that the withdrawal has occurred in compliance with the conditions above.

The actual time for crediting or returning the amounts you have paid for the purchase of products depends on the payment methods used:

  • purchase via PayPal: the refund will be made to your PayPal account and will be immediately visible. The actual refund on the credit card from your PayPal account depends on the institution that issued the card.
  • purchase by bank transfer: the refund will be made to your bank account of which you will indicate the IBAN to allow us to repay you. The effective currency of the reimbursement to your account depends on the Institute used for the credit.

In the case of a gift, the reimbursement of the sums will be made to the person who made the payment.

Conditions for the change of products

According to the Shipping and Refunds policy of biciclettami.it, the conditions for the exchange are governed by the following methods.

In some specific cases, duly reported in the Return Form, as an alternative to the exercise of the right of withdrawal, you will have the possibility to change the products purchased with others, instead of obtaining the reimbursement of the relative price.

The exchange request will take place within the limits set out below:

  1. only those purchased products will be subject to change, for which this option will be expressly provided for in the Return Form;
  2. you can request the exchange of one or more products purchased only with products of the same model, having different size and / or color. In any case, the options available for the change will be indicated in the Return Form;
  3. you can request the exchange of one or more products purchased no later than fourteen (14) working days from the date of their delivery, by completing the Return Form, to be sent electronically to Bicycles within the aforementioned term. The products to be changed must be delivered to the courier within fourteen (14) days from when you have notified the Seller of your decision to change the products.
  4. you can only make one change request for each product purchased;
  5. the products for which you request the exchange must be returned to Biciclettami in their original packaging, unused, unworn, unwashed or not damaged, and they must have the product tags intact;
  6. the products to be exchanged in a single order must be sent to Bicycles in a single shipment. Bicycles, in fact, reserves the right not to accept products of the same order, shipped for change at different times.

If all the above conditions are correctly complied with, once the Return Form containing your request for exchange has been filled in and sent, Biciclettami will handle the same replacement request by sending you a confirmation e-mail for this purpose.

Times and methods for obtaining the change

According to the Shipping and Refunds policy of biciclettami.it, after that Biciclettami have received the products you intend to change and checked that all the above requirements have been met,Biciclettami will verify the actual availability at its stores of the products in the size and / or color that you have selected.

In the event that the product or products selected for the change were not available at its stores, Biciclettami can not accommodate your request to change and therefore will proceed to refund the price of the originally purchased and non-replaceable product or products in accordance with the Consumer Code and in the manner described by the present disclosure.

In the event that the product or products selected for the change are available, Biciclettami can accept your request for exchange and will then send you an e-mail confirming the shipment of the replacement products. The shipment will take place in this case within thirty (30) days from the date on which Biciclettami is made aware of your request for exchange, once verified that it occurred in compliance with the conditions set above by this statement. The shipping costs of the replacement products will be charged to the customer, unless otherwise agreed via e-mail with Biciclettami.

The exchange of goods can be requested only within 14 working days from the date of delivery of goods to the customer. The change can be made only with items of the same model (with different size / color) and the same amount.

You will be contacted in the event that your exchange request can not be accepted because it does not comply with the conditions set out above by this statement. In this case, you can choose to get back the products you intended to change at your expense. If you refuse this shipment, Biciclettami reserves the right to retain the products and also using one of the hypotheses described above in section I of this information, it may also retain the amount corresponding to the purchase price of the products themselves.

The product or the substitutive products may be subject to subsequent restitution pursuant to art. 52 of the Consumer Code and as provided for in the previous sections.

Improper use of the product

Biciclettami does not respond to improper use of the product. If the product that the customer intends to change will result, after verification, damaged can not be replaced.

Return of products

We remind you that you will have to pay the return costs and you will be responsible for any loss or damage of the products during transport.

Consumer Code

These Terms and Conditions for the exercise of the right of withdrawal, forming an integral part of the General Conditions of Sale, are governed by Italian law and in particular by the Consumer Code, Chapter I “Consumer rights in contracts”.
